The voluntary sector collaboration for the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership Area – the Social Inclusion Consortium – was launched in February.

The announcement has been very positively received by voluntary sector organisations working across the D2N2 area, many of whom are keen to work within a local, voluntary sector led consortium to deliver the key outcomes required by the LEP.

Social Inclusion Policy Forum

The Social Inclusion Policy Forum (SIPF) is an initiative of One EM to provide a forum where policy and decision makers, Social Inclusion project practitioners and people experiencing exclusion can share information and experience, debate issues, draw lessons and develop new and more effective and practical responses to Social Exclusion in the region.

East Midlands Inclusion Framework - Inclusion Matters: From Rhetoric to Reality

This document has been developed by One East Midlands to build on the previous work of the East Midlands as a leader in social inclusion policy. It builds on the experience, knowledge and perspectives in the region and the third sector as expressed in several key strategic documents to form a Framework usable by all sectors to work against exclusion and poverty.
